আদিপুস্তক 36
1 এই হল এষৌর (অথবা, ইদোমের) বংশপরম্পরার বৃত্তান্ত।
And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.
2 এষৌ কনানীয় মহিলাদের মধ্যে থেকেই তাঁর স্ত্রীদের গ্রহণ করলেন: হিত্তীয় এলোনের মেয়ে আদা এবং হিব্বীয় সিবিয়োনের নাতনি তথা অনার মেয়ে অহলীবামা—
Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.
3 এছাড়াও ইশ্মায়েলের মেয়ে ও নবায়োতের বোন বাসমৎ।
And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.
4 এষৌর জন্য আদা ইলীফসের, বাসমৎ রূয়েলের,
And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
5 এবং অহলীবামা যিয়ূশ, যালম ও কোরহের জন্ম দিলেন। এরাই হল এষৌর সেই ছেলেরা, যাদের জন্ম কনান দেশে হয়েছিল।
And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.
6 এষৌ তাঁর স্ত্রীদের ও ছেলেমেয়েদের এবং তাঁর পরিবারের সব সদস্যকে, এছাড়াও তাঁর গবাদি পশুপাল ও অন্যান্য পশুপাল তথা কনান দেশে তিনি যেসব জিনিসপত্র অর্জন করেছিলেন, সেসবকিছু নিয়ে তাঁর ভাই যাকোবের কাছ থেকে কিছুটা দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে এগিয়ে গেলেন।
And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.
7 তাঁদের বিষয়সম্পত্তির পরিমাণ এত বেশি ছিল যে একত্রে বসবাস করা তাঁদের পক্ষে সম্ভব হচ্ছিল না; যে দেশে তাঁরা বসবাস করছিলেন, তা তাঁদের গবাদি পশুপালের জন্য তাঁদের ভারবহন করতে পারছিল না।
For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.
8 অতএব এষৌ (অথবা, ইদোম) সেয়ীরের পার্বত্য অঞ্চলে বসতি স্থাপন করলেন।
And he dwelt Esau in [the] hill country of Seir Esau that [is] Edom.
9 সেয়ীরের পার্বত্য অঞ্চলে বসবাসকারী ইদোমীয়দের পূর্বপুরুষ এষৌর বংশপরম্পরা এইরকম:
And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.
10 এষৌর ছেলেদের নাম এইরকম: এষৌর স্ত্রী আদার ছেলে ইলীফস, এবং এষৌর স্ত্রী বাসমতের ছেলে রূয়েল।
These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
11 ইলীফসের ছেলেরা: তৈমন, ওমার, সফো, গয়িতম ও কনস।
And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
12 এষৌর ছেলে ইলীফসের তিম্না নামের এক উপপত্নীও ছিল, যে ইলীফসের জন্য অমালেককে জন্ম দিয়েছিল। এরাই হল এষৌর স্ত্রী আদার সব নাতিপুতি।
And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
13 রূয়েলের ছেলেরা: নহৎ, সেরহ, শম্ম ও মিসা। এরাই হল এষৌর স্ত্রী বাসমতের সব নাতিপুতি।
And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
14 এষৌর স্ত্রী তথা সিবিয়োনের নাতনি ও অনার মেয়ে অহলীবামা এষৌর জন্য যেসব ছেলের জন্ম দিলেন তারা হল: যিয়ূশ, যালম ও কোরহ।
And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah.
15 এষৌর বংশধরদের মধ্যে এরাই হলেন বিভাগীয় প্রধান: এষৌর বড়ো ছেলে ইলীফসের ছেলেরা: দল প্রধান তৈমন, ওমার, সফো, কনস,
These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.
16 কোরহ, গয়িতম ও অমালেক। ইদোমে এই বিভাগীয় প্রধানেরাই ইলীফসের বংশে জন্মগ্রহণ করলেন; তাঁরা আদার সব নাতিপুতি।
Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.
17 এষৌর ছেলে রূয়েলের ছেলেরা: বিভাগীয় প্রধান নহৎ, সেরহ, শম্ম ও মিসা। ইদোমে এই বিভাগীয় প্রধানেরাই রূয়েলের বংশে জন্মগ্রহণ করলেন; তাঁরা এষৌর স্ত্রী বাসমতের সব নাতিপুতি।
And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
18 এষৌর স্ত্রী অহলীবামার ছেলেরা: বিভাগীয় প্রধান যিয়ূশ, যালম ও কোরহ। এই বিভাগীয় প্রধানেরাই এষৌর স্ত্রী তথা অনার মেয়ে অহলীবামার গর্ভজাত হলেন।
And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
19 এরাই হলেন এষৌর (অথবা, ইদোমের) সব ছেলে, এবং এরাই হলেন তাদের বিভাগীয় প্রধান।
These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
20 এরাই হলেন হোরীয় সেয়ীরের সেইসব ছেলে, যারা সেই অঞ্চলে বসবাস করতেন: লোটন, শোবল, শিবিয়োন, অনা,
These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
21 দিশোন, এৎসর ও দীশন। ইদোমে সেয়ীরের এই ছেলেরা ছিলেন হোরীয় বিভাগীয় প্রধান।
And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
22 লোটনের ছেলেরা: হোরি ও হোমম। তিম্না ছিলেন লোটনের বোন।
And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.
23 শোবলের ছেলেরা: অলবন, মানহৎ, এবল, শফী ও ওনম।
And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
24 সিবিয়োনের ছেলেরা: অয়া ও অনা। (এই অনাই মরুভূমিতে তাঁর বাবা সিবিয়োনের গাধাগুলি চরানোর সময় উষ্ণ জলের উৎসগুলি খুঁজে পেয়েছিলেন)
And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.
25 অনার সন্তানেরা: অনার মেয়ে দিশোন ও অহলীবামা।
And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.
26 দিশোনের ছেলেরা: হিমদন, ইশ্বন, যিত্রণ ও করাণ।
And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.
27 এৎসরের ছেলেরা: বিলহন, সাবন ও আকন।
These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
28 দীশনের ছেলেরা: ঊষ ও অরাণ।
These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
29 এরাই ছিলেন হোরীয় বিভাগীয় প্রধান: লোটন, শোবল, শিবিয়োন, অনা,
These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
30 দিশোন, এৎসর ও দীশন। সেয়ীর দেশে তাদের বিভাগ অনুসারে এরাই হলেন হোরীয় বিভাগীয় প্রধান।
Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
31 কোনো ইস্রায়েলী রাজা রাজত্ব করার আগে এরাই ইদোমে রাজা হয়ে রাজত্ব করলেন:
And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.
32 বিয়োরের ছেলে বেলা ইদোমের রাজা হলেন। তাঁর রাজধানীর নাম দেওয়া হল দিনহাবা।
And he reigned in Edom Bela [the] son of Beor and [the] name of city his [was] Dinhabah.
33 বেলা যখন মারা যান, বস্রানিবাসী সেরহের ছেলে যোবব তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
And he died Bela and he reigned in place of him Jobab [the] son of Zerah from Bozrah.
34 যোবব যখন মারা যান, তৈমন দেশ থেকে আগত হূশম রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
35 হূশম যখন মারা যান, বেদদের ছেলে সেই হদদ তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন, যিনি মোয়াব দেশে মিদিয়নীয়দের পরাজিত করলেন। তাঁর নগরের নাম দেওয়া হল অবীৎ।
And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
36 হদদ যখন মারা যান, মস্রেকানিবাসী সম্ল তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.
37 সম্ল যখন মারা যান, সেই নদীর নিকটবর্তী রহোবোৎ নিবাসী শৌল তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.
38 শৌল যখন মারা যান, অকবোরের ছেলে বায়াল-হানন তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.
39 অকবোরের ছেলে বায়াল-হানন যখন মারা যান, হদদ রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন। তাঁর নগরের নাম দেওয়া হল পায়ূ এবং তাঁর স্ত্রীর নাম মহেটবেল, যিনি মট্রেদের মেয়ে, ও মেষাহবের নাতনি ছিলেন।
And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
40 নামানুসারে, এবং তাদের বংশ ও অঞ্চল অনুসারে এরাই হলেন এষৌর বংশে জন্মানো বিভাগীয় প্রধান: তিম্ন, অলবা, যিথেৎ,
And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.
41 অহলীবামা, এলা, পীনোন,
Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.
42 কনস, তৈমন, মিবসর,
Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.
43 মগ্দীয়েল ও ঈরম। তাদের অধিকৃত দেশে তাঁরা যে বসতি স্থাপন করলেন, তা অনুসারে এরাই ইদোমের দলপতি ছিলেন। এই হল ইদোমীয়দের পূর্বপুরুষ এষৌর বংশপরম্পরা।
Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
