গীতসংহিতা 15

1 ১ দায়ূদের গীত। সদাপ্রভুু, কে তোমার তাঁবুতে বাস করবে? কে তোমার পবিত্র পর্বতে বাস করবে?

A Psalm by David. LORD, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy hill?

2 ২ যে ব্যক্তি নির্দোষভাবে চলে এবং যা ন্যায্য তাই করে এবং তার হৃদয় থেকে সত্য কথা বলে।

He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart;

3 ৩ সে তার জিভ দিয়ে নিন্দা করে না এবং অন্যদের ক্ষতি করে না, না তার প্রতিবেশীকে অপমান করে।

he who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man;

4 ৪ অযোগ্য ব্যক্তি তার চোখে তুচ্ছ হয়; কিন্তু সে তাদের সম্মান করে যারা সদাপ্রভুুকে ভয় করে। তার শপথের জন্য তার ক্ষতি হলেও, সে তার প্রতিজ্ঞা ফিরিয়ে নেয় না।

in whose eyes a vile man is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; he who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change;

5 ৫ যখন সে টাকা ধার দেয় তখন তিনি সুদ নেন না, তিনি নির্দোষের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দিতে ঘুষ গ্রহণ করেন না। যে এই কাজগুলো করে, সে কখনো বিচলিত হবে না।

he who does not lend out his money for usury, nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be shaken.
