গীতসংহিতা 105

1 ১ সদাপ্রভুুর ধন্যবাদ কর, তাঁর নামে ডাক, জাতিদের মধ্যে তাঁর সব কাজ জানাও।

O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.

2 ২ তাঁর উদ্দেশে গান গাও, তাঁর প্রশংসা গান কর, তাঁর সব আশ্চর্য্য কাজের কথা বল।

Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.

3 ৩ তাঁর পবিত্র নামের গর্ব কর; সদাপ্রভুুর খোঁজকারীদের হৃদয় আনন্দ করুক।

Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 ৪ সদাপ্রভুুর ও তাঁর শক্তির খোঁজ কর, তাঁর নিয়মিত উপস্থিতির খোঁজ কর।

Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.

5 ৫ মনে কর তাঁর করা আশ্চর্য্য জিনিস সব, তাঁর অদ্ভুতকান্ড এবং তাঁর মুখের শাসন সব;

Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;

6 ৬ তোমরা আব্রাহামের বংশ তাঁর দাস, তোমরা যাকোবের লোক, তাঁর মনোনীতরা।

O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.

7 ৭ তিনি সদাপ্রভুু, আমাদের ঈশ্বর, তাঁর শাসন সব সারা পৃথিবীতে আছে।

He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

8 ৮ তিনি তাঁর নিয়ম চিরকাল মনে করেন, সেই বাক্য তিনি হাজার বংশপরম্পরার প্রতি আদেশ করেছেন।

He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;

9 ৯ সেই নিয়ম তিনি আব্রাহামের সঙ্গে করলেন এবং সেই শপথ ইসাহাকের কাছে করলেন।

The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;

10 ১০ তিনি যা যাকোবের কাছে নিশ্চিত করলেন বিধি হিসাবে এবং ইস্রায়েলের কাছে চিরদিনের র নিয়ম বললেন।

And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;

11 ১১ তিনি বললেন আমি তোমাকে কনান দেশ দেব, সেটা তোমাদের অধিকার।

Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'

12 ১২ তিনি একথা বললেন যখন তারা সংখ্যাতে বেশি ছিল না, তারা অল্পই ছিল এবং সেখানে প্রবাসী ছিল।

When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,

13 ১৩ তারা এক জাতি থেকে অন্য জাতির কাছে এক রাজ্য থেকে অন্য রাজ্যে যেত।

And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,

14 ১৪ তিনি কোন মানুষকে তাদের ওপর জুলুম করতে দিতেন না; তাদের জন্য রাজাদের শাস্তি দিতেন।

He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:

15 ১৫ তিনি বললেন, “আমার অভিষিক্তদেরকে স্পর্শ করো না এবং আমার ভাববাদীদের ক্ষতি করো না”।

'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'

16 ১৬ তিনি মিশর দেশে দূর্ভিক্ষকে ডাকলেন; তিনি সব রুটি সরবরাহ বিচ্ছিন্ন করলেন।

And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.

17 ১৭ তিনি তাদের আগে একজন লোককে পাঠালেন, যোষেফকে দাস হিসাবে বিক্রি হলেন।

He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;

18 ১৮ তার পা বেড়ি দিয়ে বাঁধা ছিল, তাকে লোহার শেকলে রাখা হয়েছিল।

His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;

19 ১৯ যতক্ষণ তাঁর ভাববাণী সত্যি না হয়, সদাপ্রভুুর বাক্য তাকে সঠিক প্রমাণ করল।

Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.

20 ২০ রাজা পাঠালেন এবং তাকে ছেড়ে দিলেন; জাতিদের কর্তা তাকে মুক্ত করলেন।

The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.

21 ২১ তিনি তাকে তার বাড়ীর দায়িত্ব দিলেন যেন সব সম্পত্তির কর্তা,

He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;

22 ২২ তাঁর নেতাদের নিয়ন্ত্রন করতে এবং তাঁর প্রাচীনবর্গকে জ্ঞান শিক্ষা দিতে।

To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.

23 ২৩ তারপর ইস্রায়েল মিশরে এলেন এবং যাকোব কিছু দিনের র জন্য হামের দেশে বাস করলেন।

Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 ২৪ ঈশ্বর তাঁর লোকেদের অনেক বৃদ্ধি করলেন, বিপক্ষদের থেকে তাদেরকে বহুসংখ্যক করলেন।

And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.

25 ২৫ তিনি এমন করলেন তাদের শত্রুরা তার লোকেদের ঘৃণা করল, তাঁর দাসদের ওপর খারাপ ব্যবহার করল।

He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.

26 ২৬ তিনি তাঁর দাস মোশিকে পাঠালেন এবং হারোণকে যাকে তিনি মনোনীত করেছিলেন।

He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.

27 ২৭ তারা মিশরীদের মধ্যে তাঁর নানা চিহ্ন দেখালেন, হামের দেশে নানা অদ্ভুদ লক্ষণ দেখালেন।

They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 ২৮ তিনি ঐ দেশকে অন্ধকার করলেন, কিন্তু মিসরের লোকেরা তাঁর আদেশ মানল না।

He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.

29 ২৯ তিনি তাদের জলকে রক্তে পরিণত করলেন এবং তাদের সব মাছ মেরে ফেললেন।

He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30 ৩০ তাদের দেশে ব্যাঙ দঙ্গল বাঁধলো এমনকি তাদের শাসকদের ঘরের ভেতরে ঢুকে গেল।

Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.

31 ৩১ তিনি বললেন এবং মাছির ঝাঁক এল এবং ডাঁশ-মশা সারা দেশের মধ্যে এল।

He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.

32 ৩২ তিনি পাঠালেন শিলা এবং বৃষ্টি সঙ্গে বজ্র এবং বিদ্যুৎ দেশের মধ্যে।

He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

33 ৩৩ তিনি তাদের দ্রাক্ষালতা ও ডুমুর গাছ ধ্বংস করলেন, তিনি তাদের দেশের গাছ ভেঙে দিলেন।

He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.

34 ৩৪ তিনি বললেন এবং পঙ্গপাল এল, অসংখ্য পঙ্গপাল এল।

He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,

35 ৩৫ পঙ্গপাল তাদের দেশের সব গাছপালা খেয়ে ফেলল, তারা তাদের মাঠের সব শস্য খেয়ে ফেলল।

And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.

36 ৩৬ তিনি তাদের দেশের প্রথমজাত সকলকে হত্যা করল, তাদের সব শক্তির প্রথম ফলকে আঘাত করলেন।

He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.

37 ৩৭ তিনি ইস্রায়েলদের রূপা এবং সোনার সঙ্গে বের করে আনলেন, তাঁর গোষ্ঠীদের মধ্যে এক জনও হোঁচট খায় নি।

And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.

38 ৩৮ মিশর আনন্দ করল যখন তারা চলে গেল, কারণ মিশরবাসীরা তাদের থেকে ভীত ছিল।

Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

39 ৩৯ তিনি ঢাকা দেওয়ার জন্য মেঘ বিস্তার করলেন এবং রাতে আলো দেবার জন্য আগুন দিলেন।

He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.

40 ৪০ ইস্রায়েলীয়রা খাবার চাইল এবং ভারুই পাখি আনলেন এবং স্বর্গ থেকে রুটি দিয়ে তাদেরকে তৃপ্ত করলেন।

They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.

41 ৪১ তিনি শিলা ভেঙে দিলেন, জল প্রবাহিত হল; তা নদী হয়ে শুকনো জমিতে বোয়ে গেল।

He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.

42 ৪২ কারণ তিনি মনে করলেন তাঁর পবিত্র প্রতিজ্ঞা যা তিনি তাঁর দাস আব্রাহামের কাছে করেছিলেন।

For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;

43 ৪৩ তিনি তাঁর লোকেদের আনন্দ সঙ্গে, তাঁর মনোনীতদেরকে বিজয় উল্লাসে বের করে আনলেন।

And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.

44 ৪৪ তিনি জাতিদের দেশ দিলেন; তারা লোকেদের সম্পত্তির অধিকার নিলেন।

And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;

45 ৪৫ যাতে তারা তাঁর বিধি এবং ব্যবস্থা মেনে চলে। সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর।

That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. Hallelujah.
