1 Gode! Ninia da Dima nodone sia: sa! Ninia da Dima nodone sia: sa! Ninia da Di gasa bagade hou amo sisia: i laha. Dia noga: idafa hamoi liligi amo sisia: i laha.
We give thanks to you; our God, we thank you. You are close to us, and we proclaim to others the wonderful things that you have done [for us].
2 Gode da amane sia: sa, “Na da fofada: su eso amo ilegei dagoi. Amola Na da moloidafawane fofada: mu.
[You have said], “I have appointed a time when I will judge people, and I will judge [everyone] fairly.
3 Osobo bagade hisu da igugumu, amola esalebe liligi huluane da fofogomu. Be na da osobo bagade ea bai amo mae muguluma: ne ga: nasilisimu.
When the earth shakes and all the creatures on the earth tremble, I am the one who will (keep its foundations steady/prevent it from being destroyed).
4 Na da wadela: i hamosu dunu ilima, ilia da mae gasa fima: ne sia: sa.
I say to people who (boast/talk proudly about themselves), ‘Stop bragging!’ and I say to wicked people, ‘Do not proudly [do things to] show how great you are [IDM]!
5 Ilia da ilia hidale sia: su yolesima: ne Na da sia: sa.”
Do not be arrogant, and do not speak so boastfully!’”
6 Fofada: su houdafa da gusudili o guma: dini o gadili (north) o la: idi gadili (south) amoganini hame maha.
The one who judges people does not come from the east or from the west, and he does not come from the desert.
7 Be fofada: su dunudafa da Gode Hi fawane. E da dunu mogili se dabe lama: ne iaha amola mogili da moloiba: le, se dabe mae lama: ne fisiagasa.
God is the one who judges people; he says that some have sinned and must be punished, and that others have not done what is wrong.
8 Hina Gode da fedege agoane faigelei ea loboga gagusa. Amo ganodini sali da gasa bagade waini hano ba: sa. Amo waini hano da fedege agoane Ea ougi bagade. E da amo sogadigili, amola wadela: i hamosu dunu da amo naha. Ilia da amo waini hano huluanedafa naha ebelesa.
[It is as though] Yahweh holds a cup in his hand; it is filled with wine that [has spices] mixed in it [to cause those who drink it to become more drunk]; and when Yahweh pours it out, he will force all the wicked people to drink it; they will drink every drop of it, [which means that he will give them all the punishment that they deserve].
9 Be na da mae fisili, Ya: igobe ea Gode Ea hou eno dunuma sisia: i lale, Ema nodone gesami hea: lalumu.
But [as for me], I will never stop saying what the God whom Jacob [worshiped has done]; I will never quit singing to praise him.
10 E da wadela: i hamosu dunu ilia gasa amo fifilisimu. Be E da moloidafa dunu ilia gasa amo fufugilisimu.
He will destroy the power [IDM] of wicked people, but he will cause righteous people to become more powerful.
