1 Hina Gode da bagadedafa. Amola Ema baligiliwane nodomu da defea. Ea Moilai Bai Bagade amola Ea sema agolo amogai Ema baligiliwane nodomu da defea.
Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be greatly praised in the city where he [lives], [which is built on Zion], his sacred hill.
2 Gode Ea Goumi amo Saione, da gadodafa amola ida: iwanedafa gala. Hina Bagadedafa Ea Moilai Bai Bagade da osobo bagade fifi asi gala dunu huluane ilima hahawane hou iaha.
That city, on a high [hill], is beautiful; it is the city where the true [God], the great king, [lives], and it causes people all over the world to rejoice [when they see it].
3 Gode da Ea gagili sali Moilai Bai Bagade amo ganodini esala. Amola nowa da amo ganodini E gilisili esalea, amo dunu da gaga: su ba: mu. Gode da amo hou olelei dagoi.
God is in the strong towers there, and he shows that he protects the people in that city.
4 Osobo bagade hina bagade dunu da gilisili, Saione Goumi doagala: musa: misi.
Many kings gathered [with their armies] to attack [that city],

but when they saw it, they were amazed; they became terrified, and ran away.

Because they were very afraid, they trembled like a woman who is about to give birth to a child;
they shook [like] ships sailing from Tarshish are shaken by a strong wind.
8 Ninia da Gode Ea hamobe amo ninia gega nabi dagoi. Amola wali ninia da ninia Hina Gode Bagadedafa Ea Moilai Bai Bagade amo ganodini Ea hamobe ninia siga ba: i dagoi. E da Ea Moilai Bai Bagade mae fisili gaga: lalumu.
We had heard [that this city is glorious], and now we have seen that it is. It is the city in which Yahweh, the almighty one, [lives]. It is the city which God will preserve/protect forever.
9 Gode! Ninia da Dia Debolo Diasu ganodini Dia maedafa fisili asigidafa hou amo dawa: lala.
God, [here] in your temple we think about how you faithfully love us.
10 Osobo bagade fifi asi gala dunu huluanedafa da Dia hou dawa: Amola amoba: le nodosa. Bai Di da moloidafawane ouligilala.
You [MTY] are famous and (are praised/people praise you) all over the earth, because you rule powerfully [MTY] and justly.
11 Saione esalebe dunu ilia da hahawane ba: mu da defea. Bai Dia da moloidafa fofada: su hamosa. Yuda moilai ganodini amo hahawane hou dialumu da defea.
The people who live near Zion Hill should be happy! The people in [all] the cities [MTY] in Judah should rejoice because you judge people fairly.
12 Gode Ea fi dunu, dilia! Saione Moilai Bai Bagade sisiga: le ahoa gagagula heda: le gagai diasu amo idima!
[You Israeli people should] walk around Zion [Hill] and count the towers there;
13 Fa: no fifi mabe ilima olelemusa: , dobea fei amola gagili gagoi amo abodema. Bai dilia da fa: no fifi mabe ilima amane sia: ma: ne,
notice the walls there and examine the forts in order that you can tell about them to your children.
14 “Goe Gode da ninia Gode. E da eso huluane esalalalumu. E eso huluane mae fisili, nini bisili ouligilalumu.”
[Say to them], “This is [the city that belongs to] our God, [the one who lives] forever; he will guide us all of our lives.”
