1 Allahın iradəsi ilə Məsih İsanın həvarisi olan mən Pauldan Məsih İsada sadiq qalan Efesdəki müqəddəslərə salam!
Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to the saints, who are at Ephesus, even the faithful in Christ Jesus;
2 Atamız Allahdan və Rəbb İsa Məsihdən sizə lütf və sülh olsun!
grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Bizə Məsihdə səmadakı hər cür ruhani nemətlə xeyir-dua verən Allaha – Rəbbimiz İsa Məsihin Atasına alqış olsun!
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly things by Christ;
4 O, dünya yaranmazdan qabaq bizi Məsihdə seçdi ki, biz məhəbbətdə Onun qarşısında müqəddəs və nöqsansız olaq.
according as he hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and unblameable before Him in love:
5 Öz iradəsinin xoş məramına görə İsa Məsih vasitəsilə bizi əvvəlcədən təyin etdi ki, Özü üçün övladlığa götürsün.
having before appointed us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ unto Himself, according to the good pleasure of his will;
6 Belə ki sevimli Oğlunda bizə bəxş etdiyi Öz lütfünün izzətini mədh edək.
to the praise of his glorious grace, whereby He hath made us acceptable in the Beloved:
7 Tam hikmət və dərrakə ilə bizə bol-bol göstərdiyi Öz zəngin lütfünə görə biz Oğlunda, Onun qanı vasitəsilə satınalınmaya – təqsirlərimizin bağışlanmasına malikik.
in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
wherein He hath abounded towards us with the highest wisdom and prudence;
9 Allah əvvəlcə sirr olaraq saxladığı iradəsini xoş məramına görə bizə bildirdi. Bu məramını O, Məsihdə əvvəlcədən təyin etmişdi.
having made known to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure, which He had before purposed in Himself:
10 Vaxt tamam olanda isə bu niyyətini yerinə yetirərək həm göylərdə, həm də yerdə olan hər şeyi Məsihdə birləşdirəcək.
that in the dispensation of the fulness of times, He might reduce all things, both in heaven and on earth, under one head in Christ:
11 Hər şeyi Öz iradəsindən yaranan qərarı ilə yerinə yetirən Allahın məqsədinə görə biz əvvəlcədən təyin edilərək Məsihdə irs aldıq ki,
even in Him, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated to it according to the purpose of Him who effecteth all things after the counsel of His own will:
12 qabaqcadan Məsihə ümid bəsləyən bizlər Allahın izzətinin mədhi üçün mövcud olaq.
that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 Həqiqət kəlamını, xilasınızın Müjdəsini eşidib Məsihə iman edən zaman siz də vəd olunmuş Müqəddəs Ruhla Onda möhürləndiniz.
In whom ye also trusted, when ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also when ye believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise,
14 Müqəddəs Ruh Allaha məxsus olanların satın alınmasından ötrü irsimiz üçün qoyulan girovdur. Belə ki Allahın izzətini mədh edək.
who is the pledge of our inheritance, till the redemption of his purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.
15 Bundan ötrü mən də Rəbb İsaya olan imanınız və bütün müqəddəslərə göstərdiyiniz məhəbbət barədə eşidib
Wherefore I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus,
16 sizi dualarımda yada salaraq durmadan sizin üçün şükür edirəm.
and your love to all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 Dua edirəm ki, Rəbbimiz İsa Məsihin Allahı olan izzətli Ata Özünü sizə tanıtmaq üçün hikmət və vəhy ruhunu versin.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to the knowledge of Him,
18 Qoy O, qəlbinizin gözünü nurlandırsın ki, Onun çağırışından yaranan ümidin nə olduğunu, müqəddəslərə verdiyi irsin izzətinin necə zəngin olduğunu,
and enlighten the eyes of your understanding; that ye may know, what is the hope of his calling, and how rich the glory of his inheritance in the saints;
19 Onun böyük qüvvəsinin fəaliyyətinə görə iman edən bizlərə sərf etdiyi qüdrətinin hədsiz böyüklüyünün nə olduğunu görəsiniz.
and what the exceeding greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the energy of his mighty strength;
20 Allah bu qüdrətlə Məsihdə elə fəaliyyət göstərdi ki, Onu ölülər arasından dirildib səmada Öz sağında oturtdu
which He exerted in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at his own right hand in heavenly places,
21 və hər başçı, hakim, qüvvə və ağadan, yalnız bu dövrdə deyil, gələcək dövrdə də çəkiləcək hər addan Onu çox yüksəltdi. (aiōn g165)
far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (aiōn g165)
22 Hər şeyi Ona tabe edərək ayaqlarının altına qoydu və Onu hər şey üzərində baş olsun deyə imanlılar cəmiyyətinə verdi.
and hath put all things under his feet, and given Him to be head over all things to the church;
23 Bu cəmiyyət Onun bədənidir və hər şeyi hərtərəfli Bütövləşdirənin bütövlüyüdür.
which is his body, the complete work of Him, who filleth all in all.
