المَزامِير 33
| سَبِّحُوا الرَّبَّ أَيُّهَا الأَبْرَارُ، فَإِنَّ الْحَمْدَ يَلِيقُ بِالْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ. | ١ 1 |
[A Psalm] of David. Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; praise becomes the upright.
| اشْكُرُوا الرَّبَّ عَلَى الْعُودِ، رَنِّمُوا لَهُ بِرَبَابَةٍ ذَاتِ عَشَرَةِ أَوْتَارٍ. | ٢ 2 |
Praise the Lord on the harp; platy to him on a psaltery of ten strings.
| اعْزِفُوا أَمْهَرَ عَزْفٍ مَعَ الْهُتَافِ، رَنِّمُوا لَهُ تَرْنِيمَةً جَدِيدَةً. | ٣ 3 |
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
| فَإِنَّ كَلِمَةَ الرَّبِّ مُسْتَقِيمَةٌ وَهُوَ يَصْنَعُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِالأَمَانَةِ. | ٤ 4 |
For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are faithful.
| يُحِبُّ الْبِرَّ وَالْعَدْلَ. وَرَحْمَتُهُ تَغْمُرُ الأَرْضَ. | ٥ 5 |
He loves mercy and judgment; the earth is full the mercy of the Lord.
| بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ الرَّبِّ صُنِعَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَبِنَسْمَةِ فَمِهِ كُلُّ مَجْمُوعَاتِ الْكَوَاكِبِ. | ٦ 6 |
By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the host of them by the breath of his [mouth].
| يَجْمَعُ الْبِحَارَ كَكَوْمَةٍ وَالْلُّجَجَ فِي أَهْرَاءٍ. | ٧ 7 |
Who gathers the waters of the sea as [in] a bottle; who lays up the deeps in treasuries.
| لِتَخَفِ الرَّبَّ الأَرْضُ كُلُّهَا، وَلْيُوَقِّرْهُ جَمِيعُ سُكَّانِ الْعَالَمِ. | ٨ 8 |
Let all the earth fear the Lord; and let all that dwell in the world be moved because of him.
| قَالَ كَلِمَةً فَكَانَ. وَأَمَرَ فَصَارَ! | ٩ 9 |
For he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created.
| الرَّبُّ أَحْبَطَ مُؤَامَرَةَ الأُمَمِ. أَبْطَلَ أَفْكَارَ الشُّعُوبِ. | ١٠ 10 |
The Lord frustrates the counsels of the nations; he brings to nought also the reasonings of the peoples, and brings to nought the counsels of princes.
| أَمَّا مَقَاصِدُ الرَّبِّ فَتَثْبُتُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَأَفْكَارُ قَلْبِهِ تَدُومُ مَدَى الدُّهُورِ. | ١١ 11 |
But the counsel of the Lord endures for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.
| طُوبَى لِلأُمَّةِ الَّتِي الرَّبُّ إِلَهُهَا، وَلِلشَّعْبِ الَّذِي اخْتَارَهُ مِيرَاثاً لَهُ: | ١٢ 12 |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
| يَنْظُرُ الرَّبُّ مِنَ السَّماوَاتِ فَيَرَى بَنِي الْبَشَرِ أَجْمَعِينَ. | ١٣ 13 |
The Lord looks out of heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.
| وَمِنْ مَقَامِ سُكْنَاهُ يُرَاقِبُ جَمِيعَ سُكَّانِ الأَرْضِ. | ١٤ 14 |
He looks from his prepared habitation on all the dwellers on the earth;
| فَهُوَ جَابِلُ قُلُوبِهِمْ جَمِيعاً وَالْعَلِيمُ بِكُلِّ أَعْمَالِهِمْ. | ١٥ 15 |
who fashioned their hearts alone; who understands all their works.
| لَا يَخْلُصُ الْمَلِكُ بِالْجَيْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَلَا الْجَبَّارُ بِشِدَّةِ الْقُوَّةِ. | ١٦ 16 |
A king is not saved by reason of a great host; and a giant shall not be delivered by the greatness of his strength.
| بَاطِلاً يَرْجُو النَّصْرَ مَنْ يَتَّكِلُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ، فَإِنَّهَا لَا تُنَجِّي رَغْمَ قُوَّتِهَا. | ١٧ 17 |
A horse is vain for safety; neither shall he be delivered by the greatness of his power.
| هُوَذَا عَيْنُ الرَّبِّ عَلَى خَائِفِيهِ، الْمُتَّكِلِينَ عَلَى رَحْمَتِهِ، | ١٨ 18 |
Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him, those that hope in his mercy;
| لِيُنْقِذَ نُفُوسَهُمْ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ وَيَسْتَحْيِيَهُمْ فِي الْمَجَاعَةِ. | ١٩ 19 |
to deliver their souls from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
| أَنْفُسُنَا تَنَتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ. عَوْنُنَا وَتُرْسُنَا هُوَ. | ٢٠ 20 |
Our soul waits on the Lord; for he is our helper and defender.
| بِهِ تَفْرَحُ قُلُوبُنَا، لأَنَّنَا عَلَى اسْمِهِ الْقُدُّوسِ تَوَكَّلْنَا. | ٢١ 21 |
For our heart shall rejoice in him, and we have hoped in his holy name.
| لِتَكُنْ يَا رَبُّ رَحْمَتُكَ عَلَيْنَا بِمُقْتَضَى رَجَائِنَا فِيكَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.
