عِبرانِيّين 10

١ 1 فَقَدْ كَانَتْ شَرِيعَةُ مُوسَى تَتَضَمَّنُ ظِلًّا وَاهِياً لِلْخَيْرَاتِ الَّتِي سَيَأْتِي بِها الْمَسِيحُ، وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لِتُصَوِّرَ الْحَقِيقَةَ ذَاتَهَا. وَلِذَلِكَ، لَمْ تَكُنْ قَادِرَةً أَنْ تُوصِلَ إِلَى الْكَمَالِ أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَتَقَرَّبُونَ بِها إِلَى اللهِ، مُقَدِّمِينَ دَائِماً الذَّبَائِحَ السَّنَوِيَّةَ عَيْنَهَا،

You see, the Law is but a shadow of the good things to come, not their actual matter, so it can never perfect those who approach with the same sacrifices that they offer endlessly, year after year.

٢ 2 وَإلَّا، لَمَا كَانَ هُنَالِكَ دَاعٍ لِلاسْتِمْرَارِ فِي تَقْدِيمِهَا! لأَنَّ ضَمَائِرَ الْعَابِدِينَ، مَتَى تَطَهَّرَتْ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً إِلَى التَّمَامِ، لَا تَعُودُ بِحَاجَةٍ إِلَى التَّطْهِيرِ مَرَّةً ثَانِيَةً: إِذْ يَكُونُ الشُّعُورُ بِالذَّنْبِ قَدْ زَالَ.

Otherwise would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers would have had no more consciousness of sins, having been cleansed once for all?

٣ 3 وَلَكِنَّ فِي عَمَلِيَّةِ تَقْدِيمِ الذَّبَائِحِ الْمُتَكَرِّرَةِ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ، تَذْكِيراً لِلْعَابِدِينَ بِخَطَايَاهُمْ.

However, those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins,

٤ 4 فَمِنَ الْمُسْتَحِيلِ أَنْ يُزِيلَ دَمُ الثِّيرَانِ وَالتُّيُوسِ خَطايَا النَّاسِ.

because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

٥ 5 لِذَلِكَ قَالَ الْمَسِيحُ، عِنْدَ مَجِيئِهِ إِلَى هَذِهِ الأَرْضِ: «إِنَّ الذَّبَائِحَ وَالتَّقْدِمَاتِ مَا أَرَدْتَهَا. لَكِنَّكَ أَعْدَدْتَ لِي جَسَداً بَشَرِيًّا.

Therefore, upon coming into the world He[S] says: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for me;

٦ 6 فَالْحَيَوَانَاتُ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تُذْبَحُ وَتُحْرَقُ أَمَامَكَ تَكْفِيراً عَنِ الْخَطِيئَةِ، لَمْ تَرْضَ بِها.

with burnt offerings and sin offerings You were not pleased.

٧ 7 عِنْدَئِذٍ قُلْتُ لَكَ: هَا أَنَا آتِي لأَعْمَلَ إِرَادَتَكَ، يَا اللهُ. هَذَا هُوَ الْمَكْتُوبُ عَنِّي فِي صَفْحَةِ الْكِتَابِ!»

Then I said, ‘Yes indeed, I have come to do Your will, O God —thus it is written about me in the scroll of the book.’”

٨ 8 فَبَعْدَ أَنْ عَبَّرَ الْمَسِيحُ عَنْ عَدَمِ رِضَى اللهِ بِجَمِيعِ التَّقْدِمَاتِ وَالذَّبَائِحِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تُقَرَّبُ مَعَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُقَدَّمُ وَفْقاً لِلشَّرِيعَةِ،

First He says, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor were You pleased with them” (which are offered according to the Law),

٩ 9 أَضَافَ قَائِلاً: «هَا أَنَا آتِي لأَعْمَلَ إِرَادَتَكَ!» فَهُوَ، إِذَنْ، يُلْغِي النِّظَامَ السَّابِقَ، لِيَضَعَ مَحَلَّهُ نِظَاماً جَدِيداً.

then He says, “Yes indeed, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He removes the first in order to establish the second.

١٠ 10 بِمُوجِبِ هَذِهِ الإِرَادَةِ الإِلَهِيَّةِ، صِرْنَا مُقَدَّسِينَ إِذْ قَدَّمَ يَسُوعُ الْمَسِيحُ، مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً، جَسَدَهُ عِوَضاً عَنَّا!

By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

١١ 11 وَقَدِيماً، كَانَ كُلُّ كَاهِنٍ يَقِفُ يَوْمِيًّا أَمَامَ الْمَذْبَحِ لِيَقُومَ بِمُهِمَّتِهِ، فَيُقَدِّمُ لِلهِ تِلْكَ الذَّبَائِحَ عَيْنَهَا، مَعَ أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ قَادِرَةً عَلَى إِزَالَةِ الْخَطَايَا إِطْلاقاً.

Now every priest has stood ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices that can never take away sins;

١٢ 12 وَلَكِنَّ الْمَسِيحَ، رَئِيسَ كَهَنَتِنَا، قَدَّمَ ذَبِيحَةً وَاحِدَةً عَنِ الْخَطَايَا، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ إِلَى الأَبَدِ عَنْ يَمِينِ اللهِ،

but He Himself, having offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, sat down at God's right.

١٣ 13 مُنْتَظِراً أَنْ يُوضَعَ أَعْدَاؤُهُ مَوْطِئاً لِقَدَمَيْهِ.

Since that time He is waiting until His enemies are placed as a footstool for His feet,

١٤ 14 إِذْ إِنَّهُ، بِتَقْدِمَةٍ وَحِيدَةٍ جَعَلَ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ قَدَّسَهُمْ كَامِلِينَ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

because by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

١٥ 15 وَالرُّوحُ الْقُدُسُ نَفْسُهُ يَشْهَدُ لَنَا بِهَذِهِ الْحَقِيقَةِ. إِذْ قَالَ أَوَّلاً:

Now the Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this, after having foreseen it:

١٦ 16 «هَذَا هُوَ الْعَهْدُ الَّذِي أُبْرِمُهُ مَعَهُمْ بَعْدَ تِلْكَ الأَيَّامِ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: أَضَعُ شَرَائِعِي فِي دَاخِلِ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَأَكْتُبُهَا فِي عُقُولِهِمْ».

“‘This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,’ says the Lord, ‘I will put my laws on their hearts and I will write them on their minds,

١٧ 17 ثُمَّ أَضَافَ: «وَلا أَعُودُ أَبَداً إِلَى تَذَكُّرِ خَطَايَاهُمْ وَمُخَالَفَاتِهِمْ».

and I will not at all remember their sins and lawless deeds.’”

١٨ 18 فَحِينَمَا يَتَحَقَّقُ غُفْرَانُ الْخَطَايَا، لَا تَبْقَى حَاجَةٌ بَعْدُ إِلَى تَقْرِيبِ التَّقْدِمَاتِ!

Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

١٩ 19 فَلَنَا الآنَ، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ حَقُّ التَّقَدُّمِ بِثِقَةٍ إِلَى «قُدْسِ الأَقْدَاسِ» (فِي السَّمَاءِ) بِدَمِ يَسُوعَ.

Therefore, brothers, having courage to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

٢٠ 20 وَذَلِكَ بِسُلُوكِ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ الْحَيِّ الْجَدِيدِ الَّذِي شَقَّهُ لَنَا الْمَسِيحُ بِتَمْزِيقِ الحِجَابِ، أَيْ جَسَدِهِ.

by a new and living way that He inaugurated for us, through the curtain, that is to say, His flesh,

٢١ 21 وَلَنَا أَيْضاً كَاهِنٌ عَظِيمٌ يُمَارِسُ سُلْطَتَهُ عَلَى بَيْتِ اللهِ.

and having a Great Priest over the house of God,

٢٢ 22 فَلْنَتَقَدَّمْ إِلَى حَضْرَةِ اللهِ بِقَلْبٍ صَادِقٍ وَبِثِقَةِ الإِيمَانِ الْكَامِلَةِ، بَعْدَمَا طَهَّرَ رَشُّ الدَّمِ قُلُوبَنَا مِنْ كُلِّ شُعُورٍ بِالذَّنْبِ، وَغَسَلَ الْمَاءُ النَّقِيُّ أَجْسَادَنَا.

let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience and our body having been washed with clean water.

٢٣ 23 وَلْنَتَمَسَّكْ دَائِماً بِالرَّجَاءِ الَّذِي نَعْتَرِفُ بِهِ، دُونَ أَنْ نَشُكَّ فِي أَنَّهُ سَيَتَحَقَّقُ، لأَنَّ الَّذِي وَعَدَنَا بِتَحْقِيقِهِ، هُوَ أَمِينٌ وَصَادِقٌ.

Let us hold fast the confession of the Hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

٢٤ 24 وَعَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا أَنْ يَنْتَبِهَ لِلآخَرِينَ، لِنَحُثَّ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضاً عَلَى الْمَحَبَّةِ وَالأَعْمَالِ الصَّالِحَةِ.

And let us contemplate one another, for the stirring up of love and good works,

٢٥ 25 وَعَلَيْنَا أَلّا نَنْقَطِعَ عَنِ الاجْتِمَاعِ مَعاً، كَمَا تَعَوَّدَ بَعْضُكُمْ أَنْ يَفْعَلَ. إِنَّمَا، يَجْدُرُ بِكُمْ أَنْ تَحُثُّوا وَتُشَجِّعُوا بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاً، وَتُوَاظِبُوا عَلَى هَذَا بِقَدْرِ مَا تَرَوْنَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ يَقْتَرِبُ.

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves (like some are doing), but exhorting one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

٢٦ 26 فَإِنْ أَخْطَأْنَا عَمْداً بِرَفْضِنَا لِلْمَسِيحِ بَعْدَ حُصُولِنَا عَلَى مَعْرِفَةِ الْحَقِّ، لَا تَبْقَى هُنَاكَ ذَبِيحَةٌ لِغُفْرَانِ الْخَطَايَا،

Because, if we deliberately keep on sinning after having received the real knowledge of the Truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

٢٧ 27 بَلِ انْتِظَارُ الْعِقَابِ الأَكِيدِ فِي لَهِيبِ النَّارِ الَّتِي سَتَلْتَهِمُ الْمُتَمَرِّدِينَ. وَيَا لَهُ مِنِ انْتِظَارٍ مُخِيفٍ!

just a certain fearful anticipation of judgment and fierce fire that is ready to consume the hostiles.

٢٨ 28 تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ مَنْ خَالَفَ شَرِيعَةَ مُوسَى، كَانَ عِقَابُهُ الْمَوْتَ دُونَ رَحْمَةٍ، عَلَى أَنْ يُؤَيِّدَ مُخَالَفَتَهُ شَاهِدَانِ أَوْ ثَلاثَةٌ.

Anyone who rejected Moses' law died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

٢٩ 29 فَفِي ظَنِّكُمْ، كَمْ يَكُونُ أَشَدَّ كَثِيراً ذَلِكَ الْعِقَابُ الَّذِي يَسْتَحِقُّهُ مَنْ يَدُوسُ ابْنَ اللهِ، إِذْ يَعْتَبِرُ أَنَّ دَمَ الْعَهْدِ، الَّذِي يَتَقَدَّسُ بِهِ، هُوَ دَمٌ نَجِسٌ، وَبِذَلِكَ يُهِينُ رُوحَ النِّعْمَةِ؟

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be deemed worthy who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has regarded as unholy the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

٣٠ 30 فَنَحْنُ نَعْرِفُ مَنْ قَالَ: «لِيَ الانْتِقَامُ، أَنَا أُجَازِي، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ!» وَأَيْضاً: «إِنَّ الرَّبَّ سَوْفَ يُحَاكِمُ شَعْبَهُ!»

For we know Him who said, “‘Vengeance is up to me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will repay.’” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”

٣١ 31 حَقّاً مَا أَرْهَبَ الْوُقُوعَ فِي يَدَيِ اللهِ الْحَيِّ!

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God!

٣٢ 32 لَا تَنْسَوْا أَبَداً تِلْكَ الأَيَّامَ الْمَاضِيَةَ الَّتِي فِيهَا، بَعْدَمَا أَشْرَقَ عَلَيْكُمْ نُورُ الإِيمَانِ بِالْمَسِيحِ، صَبَرْتُمْ عَلَى جِهَادٍ مَرِيرٍ طَوِيلٍ، إِذْ قَاسَيْتُمْ كَثِيراً مِنَ الآلامِ.

However, remember those earlier days in which, having been enlightened, you endured a great struggle of sufferings:

٣٣ 33 وَذَلِكَ عِنْدَمَا تَعَرَّضْتُمْ لِلإِهَانَاتِ وَالْمُضَايَقَاتِ مِنْ جِهَةٍ، وَعِنْدَمَا شَارَكْتُمُ الَّذِينَ عُومِلُوا مِثْلَ هَذِهِ الْمُعَامَلَةِ مِنْ جِهَةٍ أُخْرَى.

partly being publicly exposed to both insults and oppression, and partly siding with those who were so treated.

٣٤ 34 فَقَدْ تَعَاطَفْتُمْ مَعَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ، كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتُمْ نَهْبَ مُمْتَلَكَاتِكُمْ بِفَرَحٍ، عِلْماً مِنْكُمْ بِأَنَّ لَكُمْ فِي السَّمَاءِ ثَرْوَةً أَفْضَلَ وَأَبْقَى.

Indeed, you also shared in the suffering of my chains; you even accepted the plundering of your possessions with joy, knowing that you have for yourselves a better and enduring possession in the heavens.

٣٥ 35 إِذَنْ، لَا تَتَخَلَّوْا عَنْ ثِقَتِكُمْ بِالرَّبِّ. فَإِنَّ لَهَا مُكَافَأَةً عَظِيمَةً.

So do not throw away your confidence, which has a great recompense.

٣٦ 36 إِنَّكُمْ تحْتَاجُونَ إِلَى الصَّبْرِ لِتَعْمَلُوا إِرَادَةَ اللهِ، فَتَنَالُوا الْبَرَكَةَ الَّتِي وُعِدْتُمْ بِها.

You need perseverance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

٣٧ 37 فَقَرِيباً جِدّاً، سَيَأْتِي الآتِي وَلا يَتَمَهَّلُ.

For in a very little while: “He who is coming will come and will not delay.

٣٨ 38 وَأَمَّا مَنْ تَبَرَّرَ بِالإِيمَانِ، فَبِالإِيمَانِ يَحْيَا. وَمَنِ ارْتَدَّ لَا تُسَرُّ بِهِ نَفْسِي!

Now the righteous one will live by faith, yet if he backs away, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

٣٩ 39 وَلَكِنَّنَا نَحْنُ لَسْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الارْتِدَادِ الْمُؤَدِّي إِلَى الْهَلاكِ، بَلْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الإِيمَانِ الْمُؤَدِّي إِلَى خَلاصِ نُفُوسِنَا!

But we are not of those who back away into ruin, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
